Experiencing Innovation – infoapps at PATINFO 2025 in Ilmenau
From May 21 to 23, 2025, we at infoapps had the pleasure of once again being part of the renowned PATINFO conference in Ilmenau – and what can we say: it was a true delight! For three full days, Ilmenau became a hub of activity around patent information, intellectual property, and innovative digital solutions. For us as a provider of intelligent research tools, it was the perfect stage to showcase our latest developments and engage in meaningful conversations with users, decision-makers, and fellow experts.
The focus: smart knowledge transfer
Throughout the presentations and discussions, one thing became clear: the role of patent research and analysis is becoming increasingly vital in the innovation process. The demands on search tools are rising, as is the need for seamless integration of patent data, standards, and scientific publications. This is exactly where infoapps comes in – with user-friendly, AI-powered research solutions that make complex data accessible and searchable.
Typically Ilmenau – the Bratwurst-Trabant
A very special treat – quite literally – was waiting right outside the venue: an original Trabant 601, lovingly converted into a “Bratwurst-mobile,” served up premium Thuringian grilled sausages. For us, it was an absolute highlight and a charming symbol of the connection between technology, tradition, and regional identity.
The “Trabi” is not just a cult classic – it also represents the creativity and inventive spirit of East Germany. Seeing this piece of history come alive at PATINFO made the event even more memorable for us. And the bratwurst? Absolutely world-class!
